I was made to feel welcomed and it was explained in detail what to expect during and, after my treatment. This was my first treatment and initially, I was apprehensive but I eventually relaxed and listened to the soothing music on in the background. Gemma knew where to apply the appropriate pressure on specific areas, I could feel knots in those areas be kneaded away by her healing touch. I did ache for two days as pre-warned. I'd overdone it a touch in the weights room and was suffering with painful muscle spasms across my shoulders and neck. The atmosphere was very relaxing and calming. I'm not used to massages so I was rather nervous at what to expect. She was very professional and knowledgeable within the realms of muscles and the central nervous system which impressed me. She told me she has a degree in complementary therapies. Gem talked me through what she was doing when I asked and gave me stretches to do at home to aid the treatment. So I recently had another Swedish massage as I'm cramped up from various muscular ailments due to a car crash. Gem worked some sort of magic as I walked out feeling 100x more limber than I was upon entering. She set's an amazingly relaxed atmosphere and puts you at ease instantly. I've had many treatments done at other professionally named organisations and spa's since the crash and I was amazed at how she outshines them with ease and at half the price!! She told me that she's just getting back into her passion after raising her family and I feel that it won't be long until she's in serious demand once word of mouth gets out. She's is one of those rare finds and I'm trying her bamboo treatment next. All in all. I recommend her.
